BEEF SAUSAGE

If you're not a fan of pork, beef sausage is the perfect non-pig substitute. Use this homemade sausage in a variety of dishes from spaghetti to sandwiches and your family will squeal with delight. In fact, they'll never even know the difference.

Ingredients
5 lb. ground beef

2 1/2 tsp. mustard seeds

2 1/2 tsp. peppercorns

1 tsp. hickory smoke salt

1 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke

1/2 cup water

5 tsp. quick salt

2 1/2 tsp. garlic salt


Methods/steps
Mix well all the ingredients.
Let stand overnight in "fridge".
Next day: roll into 2 loafs.
Wrap in foil.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
Allow cooling before serving.
