Wondering what to do with your leftover chili? This is very easy and tastes great!
Ingredients
8 x 10" baking pan
2 cups of homemade chili or (may use 1 can)
1 box Jiffy corn bread mix
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Start by preheating oven to 350 degrees and spray pan w/nonstick coating. Next, prepare cornbread as directed on box and pour batter into baking pan, coating the entire bottom. Now, warm chili in a glass bowl in the microwave for 1-2 minutes to soften, then smooth the chili evenly over the top of cornbread batter. Next sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the top and bake for 25 min. When finished, bread may be cut into squares and served on a plate, garnished w/sour cream and chives.
