The Irresistible Blueberry Farm is a Hallmark Movies & Mystery starring Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady, Days of Our Lives) and Marc Blucas. When Ellen Branford (Sweeney), a high-powered, Manhattan attorney, sets out to deliver a letter to her grandmother’s (Shirley Jones) long-lost friend in Beacon, Maine, she finds than she expected when she nearly drowns and is saved by local carpenter, Roy (Blucas). As Ellen digs deeper into her grandmother’s past, she also finds a new love of her own. But things are complicated when her fiance, Hayden Croft, surprises her with visit. As Ellen hides her true feelings and proceeds with a wedding arrangements, Ellen is drawn closer to Roy as they work to keep the farm from being sold.
Sweeney is outstanding in her portrayal as Ellen Branford as she is drawn into a romance with Blucas’ character. And Blucas is charming as Ellen and Roy work to save the farm that Roy grew up on.
