ultimate layered taco dip

Excellent party dip, never had a complaint yet. Goes over great with the guys watching their favorite game.

Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
8 oz. sour cream
16 oz. bag of shredded taco seasoned cheese
1 jar of salsa
bag of tortilla chips
shredded lettuce
diced green peppers
diced tomatoes (I use plum tomatoes, less seeds)
1 small can sliced black olives (drained)
jalapenos

Directions
Brown ground beef, drain well. Add taco seasoning and water according to package directions. Let cool(I put mine in the refridgerator). While taco beef is cooling, shred lettuce, dice green peppers and tomatoes. In a 9X13 baking pan or foil pan for easier clean up, spread sour cream on bottom of pan, top with cooled taco beef. Then spread salsa on top of taco beef, sprinkle cheese on top of salsa. Then top with shredded lettuce, sliced black olives, diced green peppers and tomatoes. Depending on your taste you can put the jalapenos on top or serve on the side for the people who like the heat. Serve with tortilla chips. Enjoy!
