Duplex, starring Ben Stiller (Meet the Parents) and Drew Barrymore (Charlie’s Angels) are hysterically funny as a young couple, Alex and Nancy, wanting to settle down in their perfect dream home. But they didn’t count on the permanent fixture that just won’t leave, an obnoxious, elderly tenant who just won’t die! Soon they are entertaining sinister solutions to rid the duplex of the tenant. Thwarted after one plot after another, Alex and Nancy, finally throw in the towel, only to learn that the elderly neighbor finally succumbs to death when they move out. But that is where the surprising twist comes in, as Alex and Nancy wonder wherever their elderly neighbor ended up.
Duplex is written by Larry Doyle and directed by Danny DeVito (The War of the Roses, Throw Momma from the Train) and stars Harvey Fierstein (Death to Smoochy). You’ll love this laugh-out-loud comedy.
