FOG DEHUMIDIFERS BY SMARTFOG: THE NEW TECHNOLOGY
SmartFog has a secret about their humidifiers: it can create 4.2-micron droplets—which are engineered to be the smallest in the industry. Droplet size is important as water evaporates the surface of a droplet—which is the surface area of a droplet in relation to the volume or water decreased to evaporation efficiency increased. In order for the smaller droplet size to stay airborne longer, the smaller droplet size is the fastest, efficient for evaporation achieved. SmartFog's 4.2-micron droplets evaporate completely in the air before reaching the surface—where SmartFog has achieved a 100% evaporation rate that achieves 100% water efficiency. And SmartFog does not moisten exposed surfaces.
ENERGY EFFICIENT NATURAL PROCESS
SmartFog uses 50-90% less energy to generate humidity than other technologies. A process known as the natural decorrelation process which is the cohesion and adhesion properties in water, where water is attracted to other water through cohesion, water is attracted to other materials through adhesion. The effects that are caused by a negative charge of the Oxygen molecule are due to the positive charge of the Hydrogen molecule attracting it. In the SmartFog Decorrelation Technology process, it reverses the cohesion effect through a non-chemical process technology that reverses the cohesion and maximizes adhesion. This is the most energy efficient way of generating water droplet.
JUMBO NON-CLOGGING ORIFICE
Although the De-Correlation process uses a larger orifice to both the input and output—the larger orifice means the nozzle can not clog easily, which ensures low maintenance. SmartFog's nozzles are made with a high grade 316 stainless steel which allows the chemical used with the 28th system and avoids rusting and corrosion.
DOUBLE COOLING EFFECT
SmartFog has an optional feature nozzle that generates a strong vacuum and cools both air and water. But regardless of the input temperature, the output is always 4˚ F (40˚ C.), called a SmartFog Cold. The rapid evaporative cooling causes a fast evaporation that takes heat from the air, which is another factor that reduces the energy cost of cooling. An example is a greenhouse environment to which SmartFog can reduce consistent temperatures of 110˚ F. outside to 80˚ F. inside temperature.
LOW-PRESSURE SAFE OPERATION
SmartFog uses only 100 psi compressed air, so a low-pressure operation allows the use of flexible piping makes installation fast and easy. It is important for a low-pressure non-heating mechanism to eliminate the human safety factors and doesn't require regulations. All SmartFog systems use less than 2 amps of 24 V DC at a control unit only.
INTELLIGENT PRECISE HUMIDITY CONTROL
The system is completely pneumatic and eliminates human hazards to make installation easier. SmartFog is also equipped with a CPLC controller that uses propriety in intelligent algorithms to identify the efficient way to generate required humidity in a given environment.
ELIMINATES DUST, MOLD, BACTERIA, AND VIRUSES
It injects Oxygen into every droplet that is dispensed so the SmartFog De-Correlation Technology can reverse the correlation effect through the non-chemical mechanical process. Cohesion reversal maximizes adhesion. As dust, airborne diseases, bacteria, virus particles and spores are attracted to SmartFog droplets by adhesion and oxidized so SmartFog can achieve the 100% dust suppression for droplets that smaller than 5 microns in the air. Droplets that are 5 microns or larger retract air particles and don't suppress small dust and other air bore particles. That is why SmartFog Technology can provide 4.2-micron droplets which are ideal for the 100% dust suppression. SmartFog also aids in the reduction of dust and airborne bacteria and viruses in the air.
PLUG & PLAY INSTALLATION
SmartFog is also designed for a fast and low-cost installation. It does not require the use of adhesives and comes with push-in connectors which can be reused. It is designed to meet the highest industry standards, including building codes and electrical requirements plus the standard piping is plastic and flexible for piping which is durable and easy to install. SmartFog systems can be mounted to the wall, placed adjacent to air handling units, suspended from the ceiling or inserted into ducts.
