Love-at-first, or maybe it’s lust, for laid-back motel night manager, Mike (Steve Zahn—Sunshine Cleaning, Saving Silverman), when Sue (Jennifer Aniston—Marley & Me, Office Space), an uptight sales rep, checks in. Mike, convinced Sue is his dream girl shakes up his slacker life to pursue an a cross-country pursuit to win her heart. Can he steal her away from her more successful boyfriend, Jango (Woody Harrelson—No Country for Old Men?). For both Mike and Sue, they must go on their own twisted journeys to find out if what they really need is each other. Fred Ward also stars as Mike’s father.
A romantic comedy for the heart of lovers, Jennifer Aniston is superb in Management. One of her better movies, she shines as she is torn between an old successful boyfriend and the genuine love of an obvious slacker who finally gets it right in the end. It will tug at your heart as your root for Mike and Sue to be together.
