A mysterious love letter seems to land in the hands of the
town’s unsuspecting residents. One
woman, Helen MacFarquhar (Kate
Capshaw) sets out to find the author of the love letter. As she does, her life seems to take on a life
of its own. Two gentlemen, George (Tom
Selleck), a man from her past, and a much younger man, Johnny (Tom Everett
Scott), opens her life to new adventures.
One mysterious love letter seems to awaken an entire town as its
residents look at one another with a renewed interest. And by the time you find out who the letter was
written by, it seems to have a life all its own. Other stars include Ellen DeGeneres, Blythe
Danner, Geraldine McEwan, Julianne Nicholson, and Gloria Stuart.
