From writer-director Adrienne Shelly, comes a sweet, sassy comedy about the power of friendship, motherhood and second chances, stars Keri Russell, Jeremy Sisto, Nathan Fillion, and Andy Griffith. Jenna (Russell) is a small-town waitress with big dreams and an uncanny gift for baking out-of-this-world pies. She secretly wishes to win a $25,000 contest, so she can leave her obnoxious husband (Sisto) and open her own pie shop and start a new life. Upon learning that she is pregnant, she meets her new doctor (Fillion), who seems to supply the right ingredients necessary to find her true happiness. The most surprising twist is the diner’s owner, Joe (Griffith), who becomes friends with Jenna. Waitress is a movie for anyone with big dreams and the need for second chances.
