Need Washing?

A little girl had been shopping with her Mom in WalMart. She must have been 6 years old, this beautiful red haired, freckle faced image of innocence. It was pouring outside. The kind of rain that gushes over the top of rain gutters, so much in a hurry to hit the earth it has no time to flow down the spout.. We all stood there, under the awning, just inside the door of the WalMart. We waited, some patiently, others irritated because nature messed up their hurried day. I am always mesmerized by rainfall. I got lost in the sound and sight of the heavens washing away the dirt and dust of the world. Memories of running, splashing so carefree as a child came pouring in as a welcome reprieve from the worries of my day. Her little voice was so sweet as it broke the hypnotic trance we were all caught in, 'Mom let's run through the rain,' She said. 'What?' Mom asked. 'Let's run through the rain!' She repeated. 'No, honey. We'll wait until it slows down a bit,' Mom replied. This young child waited a minute and repeated: 'Mom, let's run through the rain..' 'We'll get soaked if we do,' Mom said. 'No, we won't, Mom. That's not what you said this morning,' the young girl said as she tugged at her Mom's arm. 'This morning? When did I say we could run through the rain and not get wet?' 'Don't you remember? When you were talking to Daddy about his cancer, you said, ' If God can get us through this, He can get us through anything! ' '
The entire crowd stopped dead silent.. I swear you couldn't hear anything but the rain.. We all stood silently. No one left. Mom paused and thought for a moment about what she would say. Now some would laugh it off and scold her for being silly. Some might even ignore what was said. But this was a moment of affirmation in a young child's life. A time when innocent trust can be nurtured so that it will bloom into faith. 'Honey, you are absolutely right. Let's run through the rain. If GOD let's us get wet, well maybe we just need washing,' Mom said. Then off they ran. We all stood watching, smiling and laughing as they darted past the cars and yes, through the puddles. They got soaked. They were followed by a few who screamed and laughed like children all the way to their cars. And yes, I did. I ran. I got wet. I needed washing. Circumstances or people can take away your material possessions, they can take away your money, and they can take away your health. But no one can ever take away your precious memories...So, don't forget to make time and take the opportunities to make memories everyday. To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven. I HOPE YOU STILL TAKE THE TIME TO RUN THROUGH THE RAIN. They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them. Send this to the people you'll never forget and remember to also send it to the person who sent it to you. It's a short message to let them know that you'll never forget them. If you don't send it to anyone, it means you're in a hurry. Take the time to live!!! Keep in touch with your friends, you never know when you'll need each other --And don't forget to run in the rain!

Do You Remember 1987

DO YOU REMEMBER 1987? Can this be true??? Do you remember 1987 when the Senators were giving Ollie North such a bad time? This brings it all into perspective, thought you might be interested in this forgotten bit of information. It was 1987! At a lecture the other day they were playing an old news video of Lt. Col. Oliver North testifying at the Iran-Contra hearings during the Reagan Administration. There was Ollie in front of God and country getting the third degree, but what he said was stunning! He was being drilled by a senator, "did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?" Ollie replied, "Yes Sir, I did". The senator continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience "Isn't that just a little excessive? "No sir" continued Ollie. "No, and why not?" the senator asked. "Because the lives of my family and I were threatened sir". "Threatened? By whom?" the senator questioned. "By a Muslim terrorist sir". Ollie answer. "Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that much?" "His name is Osama bin Laden, sir", Ollie replied. At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn't pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn't. A couple of people laughed at the attempt. Then the senator continued. "Why are you so afraid of this man?" the senator asked. "Because sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of", Ollie answered, "And the Muslims are trying to take over America and destroy it from the inside out and putting their people into our political offices. "And what do you recommend we do about him?” asked the senator. "Well, sir, if it was up to me, I would recommend that an assassin team be formed to eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth." The senator disagreed with this approach, and that was all that was shown of the clip. By the way, that senator was Al Gore! Also: Terrorist pilot Mohammad Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called, "political prisoners". However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands. The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, insisted that all prisoners be released. Thus Mohammad Atta was freed and eventually thanked us by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center. This was reported by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first identified. It was censored in the US from all. Do Not Break - it is 14 years strong! This has not been broken since 9/11/01, please keep it going.

Now 71 Years Later!

Is this ever powerful! STATEMENT AT THE END SAYS IT ALL !!!!! What happened to the radiation that lasts thousands of years? HIROSHIMA 1945
We all know that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed in August 1945 after the explosion of atomic bombs. However, we know little about the progress made by the people of that land during the past 67 years. HIROSHIMA - 67 YEARS LATER
DETROIT- 65 YEARS AFTER HIROSHIMA
What has caused more long term destruction - the A-bomb, or Government welfare programs created to buy the votes of those who want someone to take care of them? Japan does not have a welfare system. Work for it, or do without. These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read and all applicable to this experiment: 1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. 2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. 3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. 4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it! 5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation. Can you think of a good reason for not sharing this? Neither could I.

Everyone knows that in advertising the competition is very fierce and that 'nothing sells like "T&A"; so the Germans came up with an ad for German autos...
The French auto makers: Citroen, Renault, and Peugeot soon replied with their own ad campaign!
A Muslim wife complains to her husband that all the romance had gone out of their marriage. "Remember when you used to carry me up to bed?" she asked. "Yeah," he replied, "But to be fair, you were only eleven years old at the time!"

How Old Is Grandma?

Frightening! How old is Grandma - I was surprised at the end.
How old is Grandma? (Read this to the end-- quite an eye opener.)
Stay with this -- the answer is at the end... It will blow you away. One evening a grandson was talking to his grand mother About current events. The grandson asked his grandmother what she thought About the shootings at schools, the computer age, and Just things in general. The Grandmother replied, "Well, let me think a minute, I was born before: ' television ' penicillin ' polio shots ' frozen foods ' Xerox ' contact lenses ' Frisbees and ' the pill There were no: ' credit cards ' laser beams or ' ball-point pens Man had not yet invented: ' pantyhose ' air conditioners ' dishwashers ' clothes dryers ' and the clothes were hung out to dry in the fresh air and ' man hadn't yet walked on the moon Error! Filename not specified. Your Grandfather and I got married first, and then lived together. Every family had a father and a mother. Until I was 25, I called every man older than me, "Sir." And after I turned 25, I still called policemen and every man With a title, "Sir." We were before gay-rights, computer-dating, dual careers, daycare centers, and group therapy. Our live s were governed by the Ten Commandments, good judgment, and common sense. We were taught to know the difference between right and Wrong and to stand up and take responsibility for our actions. Serving your country was a privilege; living in this country was A bigger privilege.
We thought fast food was what people ate during Lent. Having a meaningful relationship meant getting along with Your cousins. Draft dodgers were those who closed front doors as the Evening breeze started. Time-sharing meant time the family spent together in the Evenings and weekends — not purchasing condominiums. We never heard of FM radios, tape decks, CD's, electric typewriters, yogurt, or guys wearing earrings. We listened to Big Bands, Jack Benny, and the President's speeches on our radios. If you saw anything with 'Made in Japan ' on it, it was junk. The term 'making out' referred to how you did on your school exam. Pizza Hut, McDonald's, and instant coffee were unheard of. We had 5 &10-cent (5 and dime) stores where you could actually buy things for 5 and 10 cents. Ice-cream cones, phone calls, rides on a streetcar, and a Pepsi were all a nickel. And if you didn't want to splurge, you could spend your nickel on enough stamps to mail 1 letter and 2 postcards. You could buy a new Ford Coupe for $600, but who could Afford one? Too bad, because gas was 11 cents a gallon. In my day: ' "grass" was mowed, ' "coke" was a cold drink, ' "pot" was something your mother cooked in and ' "rock music" was your grandmother's lullaby. ' "Aids" were helpers in the Principal's office, ' "chip" meant a piece of wood, ' "hardware" was found in a hardware store and. ' "software" wasn't even a word.
We were the last generation to actually believe that a lady needed a husband to have a baby. We volunteered to protect our precious country. No wonder people call us "old and confused" and say there is a generation gap. How old do you think I am? Read on to see -- pretty scary if you think about it and pretty sad at the same time. Are you ready????? This woman would be only 61 years old. She would have been born in late 1952. GIVES YOU SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT.

Your Yearly Dementia Test (Only 4 Questions)

Yep, it's that time of year again for us to take our annual senior citizen test. Exercise of the brain is as important as exercise of the muscles. As we grow older, it's important to keep mentally alert. If you don't use it, you lose it! Here is a very private way to gauge how your memory compares to your last test. Some may think it is too easy, but the ones with memory problems may have difficulty. Take this test to determine if you're losing it or not. The spaces below are so you don't see the answers until you've made your answer. OK, relax, clear your mind and begin. #1. What do you put in a toaster? Answer: 'bread.' If you said 'toast', just give up now and go do something else. And, try not to hurt yourself. If you said, bread, go to Question #2. # 2. Say 'silk' five times. Now spell 'silk.' What do cows drink? Answer: Cows drink water. If you said 'milk,' don't attempt the next question. Your brain is already over-stressed and may even overheat. Content yourself with reading more appropriate literature such as Women's Weekly or Auto World. However, if you did say 'water', proceed To Question #3. # 3. If a red house is made from red bricks and a blue house is made from blue bricks and a pink house is made from pink bricks and a black house is made from black bricks, what is a green house made from? Answer: Greenhouses are made from glass. If you said 'green bricks', why are you still reading this? PLEASE, go lie down! But, if you said 'glass,' go on to Question #4. # 4. Do not use a calculator for this: You are driving a bus from New York City to Philadelphia. In Staten Island, 17 people got on the bus. In New Brunswick, 6 people get off the bus and 9 people get on. In Windsor, 2 people get off and 4 get on. In Trenton, 11 people get off and 16 people get on. In Bristol, 3 people get off and 5 people get on. And, in Camden, 6 people get off and 3 get on. You then arrive at Philadelphia Station. Without going back to review, how old is the bus driver? Answer: Oh, for crying out loud ! Don't you remember your own age?!?! It was YOU driving the bus! If you pass this along to your friends, pray they do better than you.

On His Knees Ronald Reagan

I long for those days when a president of the United States was unafraid to express his faith and belief in Jesus Christ. ON HIS KNEES RONALD REAGAN This is a rather short video that we all should watch, appreciate and fully understand its meaning. It is also one that everyone in our government should be forced to watch several times, at least until they get it!!! If you are one of those that do not forward e-mails, please make this an exception and pass this along to everyone in your address book. http://www.youtube.com/embed/OvN1jTkzXbY?rel=0

Want to Feel Like a Dummy?

Thomas Jefferson His Portrait is on the Two $2.00 Dollar Bill. This is amazing. There are two parts. Thomas Jefferson was a very remarkable man who started learning very early in life and never stopped. At 5, began studying under his cousin's tutor. At 9, studied Latin, Greek and French. At 14, studied classical literature and additional languages. At 16, entered the College of William and Mary. Also could write in Greek with one hand while writing the same in Latin with the other. At 19, studied Law for 5 years starting under George Wythe. At 23, started his own law practice. At 25, was elected to the Virginia House of Burgesses. At 31, wrote the widely circulated "Summary View of the Rights of British America " And retired from his law practice. At 32, was a delegate to the Second Continental Congress. At 33, wrote the Declaration of Independence . At 33, took three years to revise Virginia's legal code and wrote a Public Education bill and a statute for Religious Freedom. At 36, was elected the second Governor of Virginia succeeding Patrick Henry. At 40, served in Congress for two years. At 41, was the American minister to France and negotiated commercial treaties with European nations along with Ben Franklin and John Adams.. At 46, served as the first Secretary of State under George Washington. At 53, served as Vice President and was elected president of the American Philosophical Society. At 55, drafted the Kentucky Resolutions and became the active head of Republican Party. At 57, was elected the third president of the United States. At 60, obtained the Louisiana Purchase doubling the nation's size. At 61, was elected to a second term as President. At 65, retired to Monticello .. At 80, helped President Monroe shape the Monroe Doctrine. At 81, almost single-handedly created the University of Virginia and served as its first president. At 83, died on the 50th anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence along with John Adams. Thomas Jefferson knew because he himself studied the previous failed attempts at government. He understood actual history, the nature of God, His laws and the nature of man. That happens to be way more than what most understand today. Jefferson really knew his stuff. A voice from the past to lead us in the future: John F. Kennedy held a dinner in the White House for a group of the brightest minds in the nation at that time. He made this statement: "This is perhaps the assembly of the most intelligence ever to gather at one time in the White House with the exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone." "When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe ." -- Thomas Jefferson "The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not." -- Thomas Jefferson "It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world." -- Thomas Jefferson "I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." -- Thomas Jefferson "My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government." -- Thomas Jefferson "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson "The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." -- Thomas Jefferson "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." -- Thomas Jefferson "To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical." -- Thomas Jefferson Thomas Jefferson said in 1802: "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property - until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered." I wish we could get this out to every American! I'm doing my part.

Rope Trick (A Good One).....

How does he do it??? http://www.wimp.com/mac-kings- infamous-rope-trick/ Mac King's Infamous Rope Trick - wimp.com www.wimp.com Las Vegas magician Mac King has a trick that's so notoriously difficult to figure out, even Penn and Teller have admitted they have no clue how he does it.

God's Accuracy!!!!

This is really interesting.........enjoy..... ........ When GOD solves our problems, we have faith in HIS abilities. When GOD doesn't solve our problems, HE has faith in our abilities. One may observe God's accuracy in the hatching of eggs. . . . those of the canary in 14 days; those of the barnyard hen in 21 days; eggs of ducks and geese in 28 days; those of the mallard in 35 days; the eggs of the parrot and the ostrich hatch in 42 days. (Notice, they are all divisible by seven, the number of days in a week!) See God's wisdom in the making of an elephant. . . . The four legs of this great beast all bend forward in the same direction. No other quadruped is so made. God planned that this animal would have a huge body - too large to live on two legs. For this reason He gave it four fulcrums so that it can rise from the ground easily. The horse rises from the ground on its two front legs first. A cow rises from the ground with its two hind legs first. How wise the Lord is in all His works of creation! Each watermelon has an even number of stripes on the rind. Each orange has an even number of segments. Each ear of corn has an even number of rows. Each stalk of wheat has an even number of grains. Every bunch of bananas has on its lowest row an even number of bananas, and each row decreases by one, so that one row has an even number and the next row an odd number. Amazing! There's more... The waves of the sea roll in on shore twenty-six to the minute in all kinds of weather. All grains are found in even numbers on the stalks. God has caused the flowers to blossom at certain specified times during the day. Linnaeus, the great botanist, once said that if he had a conservatory containing the right kind of soil, moisture, and temperature, he could tell the time of day or night by the flowers that were open and those that were closed. The lives of each of us may be ordered by the Lord in a beautiful way for His glory, if we will only entrust Him with our lives. If we try to regulate our own lives, we will have only mess and failure. Only God, who made our brains and hearts, can successfully guide them to a profitable end. When you carry the Bible, Satan has a headache; when you open it, he collapses. When he sees you reading it, he loses his strength, and when you stand on the Word of God, Satan can't hurt you! And did you also know... ...that when you are about to forward this email to others, the devil will probably try to discourage you, but do it anyway. Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil - it has no point. I pray God bless you in ways you never even dreamed. I didn't think twice about forwarding this one on and I hope you don't, either. Pass on the blessings!!

This is Very Good.......

The Largest Insane Asylum in the World!!!!

If this does not make you want to agree with Trump probably nothing will. We are turning into Europe..The problems have just begun and are going to get worse California....LARGEST INSANE ASYLUM IN THE WORLD Interesting that the LA Times did this. Lou Dobbs reported this on CNN, and it cost him his job. The only network we would see this on, would be FOX. All the others are, staying away from it. Whether you are a Democrat or Republican, this should be of great interest to you! Just One State - be sure and read the last part...try for 3 times. This is only one State....If this doesn't open eyes, nothing will! From the L. A. Times. 1. 40% of all workers in L. A. County (L.. A. County has 10.2 million people), are working for cash; and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrants, working without a green card. (Donald Trump was right) 2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles, are for illegal aliens. 3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles, are illegal aliens. 4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County, are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal; whose births were paid for, by taxpayers. 5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers, are Mexican nationals; here illegally. 6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County, are living in garages. 7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles, are most likely illegal aliens; from south of the border. 8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties, are illegal. 9. 21 radio stations in L. A., are Spanish speaking. 10. In L.A. County, 5.1 million people speak English; 3.9 million, speak Spanish. (There are 10.2 million people, in L. A. County.) (All 10 of the above facts were published in the Los Angeles Times) Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare. Over 70% of the United States' annual population growth, (and over 90% of California, Florida, and New York) results from immigration. 29% of inmates in federal prisons, are illegal aliens. We are fools for letting this continue. HOW CAN YOU HELP? Send copies of this letter to at least two other people. 100 would be even better. This is only one State...If this doesn't open your eyes nothing will, and you wonder why Nancy Pelosi; wants them to become voters! IF YOU DON'T AGREE JUST DELETE--IF YOU DO--PASS IT ON! WHERE DO WE GET THESE MORONS? Windfall Tax on Retirement Income. Adding a tax to your retirement is simply another way of saying to the American people; you're so darn stupid that we're going to keep doing this until we drain every cent from you. Nancy Pelosi wants a Windfall Tax on Retirement Income. In other words, tax what you have made by investing toward your retirement. This woman is a nut case! You aren't going to believe this. Nancy Pelosi wants to put a Windfall Tax on all stock market profits (including Retirement fund, 401K and Mutual Funds)! Alas, it is true -- all to help the 12 Million Illegal Immigrants and other unemployed Minorities! This woman is frightening. She quotes...' We need to work toward the goal of equalizing income, (didn't Marx say something like this?) and, in our country and at the same time, limiting the amount the rich can invest. (I am not rich, are you?) When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied: 'We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed, and minorities. For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help; along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market windfall-profits taxes could go a long way to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as 'Americans''. (Read that quote again and again, and let it sink in.) 'Lower your retirement; give it to others who have not worked as you have, for it.' Send it on to your friends. I just did! This lady is out of her mind!!!!! *PASS IT ON*

Funny but true......................so sad! Subj: Any questions?
