berry wonderful trifle

Light and refreshing trifle that's easy to make.

Ingredients

1 Pre-made Pound Cake (or can use lady's fingers cookies)
2 Cups Sliced Strawberries (or any type of berries)
2 teaspoons of vanilla / vanilla extract
(can use other type of extract, i.e lemon, etc.-depends upon ones own taste)
1 Large container of Cool Whip
1 Cup of Pecans (chopped into small pieces)

Directions

Start by using a deep bowl or container (preferably glass or clear so that you can see the pretty layers). Slice pound cake into 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch slices and when laying cake into container, cut slices of the cake into needed shapes so that the pieces of the cake will fill the entire layer and have no gaps. Start layering ingredients with the pound cake on the bottom. Drizzle a few drops of the vanilla extract over the entire layer of cake. Spread with about 1 inch of cool whip and then sprinkle with pecans over cool whip. Then, top with the strawberries. Repeat Layers 2 more times. On top of last layer, top the berries with remaining cool whip and sprinkle with remaining pecans. Decorate the top with a few berries in the middle (or however you like, BE CREATIVE!)

ultimate delicious squares

A dessert any family will love.
Ingredients

1 stick of melted butter
1 1/2 cups gramham crackers
1 1/2 cups coconut
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
12 oz package of heath bits
12 oz peanut butter chips
1 can evaporated milk
2 cups of chopped nuts (I use walnuts but you can use any kind)

Directions

Melt butter in 9 x 13 pan. Spread crumbs to just cover bottom. Next add layers of coconut, semi-sweet chocolate chips, heath bits, peanut butter chips, milk and walnut over top press down to help nut to stick. Bake at 350F degrees for about 25 minutes or just until light brown around edges. Let cool completely and cut into squares and enjoy. my family loves them and they ask for them all the time.

tangy spinach dip

When it comes to picking the perfect party platter, you can't go wrong with a bowl of spinach dip. Serve with pumpernickel bread, tortilla chips or fresh vegetables. There's a big or little "dipper" to suit every taste.

Ingredients

    1 (11 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 3/4 cup plain yogurt 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper, to taste 1/2 tsp. salt, to taste

Cook spinach according to package directions and drain thoroughly. Place all ingredients in blender and process until smooth. Chill for at least 3 hours before serving with vegetables or chips. For a milder dip, mix in some cottage cheese before serving.

2# hamburger meat 1 bag shredded cheese
2 cans biscuit
1 can sloppy joe mix

Directions

Brown meat and drain add sloppy joe mix and simmer. Set aside. Take a cupcake pan and spray inside with Pam. Mash biscuits in cups and up sides to form bowl, spoon in meat mixture and bake till tops of bowls are brown . Top with cheese wait till melted and enjoy.

ultimate layered taco dip

Excellent party dip, never had a complaint yet. Goes over great with the guys watching their favorite game.

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
8 oz. sour cream
16 oz. bag of shredded taco seasoned cheese
1 jar of salsa
bag of tortilla chips
shredded lettuce
diced green peppers
diced tomatoes (I use plum tomatoes, less seeds)
1 small can sliced black olives (drained)
jalapenos

Directions

Brown ground beef, drain well. Add taco seasoning and water according to package directions. Let cool(I put mine in the refrigerator). While taco beef is cooling, shred lettuce, dice green peppers and tomatoes. In a 9X13 baking pan or foil pan for easier clean up, spread sour cream on bottom of pan, top with cooled taco beef. Then spread salsa on top of taco beef, sprinkle cheese on top of salsa. Then top with shredded lettuce, sliced black olives, diced green peppers and tomatoes. Depending on your taste you can put the jalapenos on top or serve on the side for the people who like the heat. Serve with tortilla chips. Enjoy!

Ingredients

    2 slices bread
    2 slices monteray jack cheese
    1 tbsp. mayonnaise
    Slices ham
    Lettuce
Methods/steps
 
Toast the two pieces of bread to your liking. Spread mayonnaise on bread. Put one piece of cheese on each peice of bread then place 2 pieces of ham on each piece of bread. Close the sandwich. Cut it in two and enjoy.

pecan encrusted salmon

Elegant seafood dish

Ingredients

2-6 ounce or 3-4 ounce skinless salmon fillets
2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup pecans, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup AP flour

Directions

Combine flour with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Dredge salmon fillets through flour.
Dredge next through egg.
Dredge then through pecans.
Lightly saute in butter, turning once.
Finish to desired temperature in 450 degree preheated oven.

roasted pork tenderloin w/ apricot marinade

Melts in your mouth. Marinate pork overnight for best results.

Ingredients

2 lbs. pork tenderloin
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoon apricot preserves
4 tablespoons brown mustard
2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 cloves of garlic, crushed

Directions


Combine oil, black pepper, salt apricot preserves, brown mustard, brown sugar, vinegar and garlic in a resealable plastic bag.

Add pork tenderloins and liberally coat the meat on all sides with the mixture and marinate them for at least 25 minutes (overnight for more flavor)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Remove from pork tenderloins from the marinade (discarding remaining marinade) and place the pork tenderloins in a roasting pan on rack.

Place the the roasting pan with pork tenderloins in the oven and bake for 1 Hour or until a meat thermometer inserted reads 155-160 degrees F.

Remove from the oven and let rest 10 minutes

Slice and Serve Baked Sweet Potato or Yam Chips

    1 (8 oz.) container soft cream cheese
    1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese
    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 (12 oz.) jar pepperoncini, drained, stemmed, seeded and chopped
    1 plum tomato, diced
Methods/steps
 
Stir together cheeses and garlic powder in medium bowl until well blended. Add pepperoncini and tomatoes; mix well. Chill at least 3 hours. If desired, garnish with chopped chives.

tater tot casserole

This recipe is good for all parents who can't get their children to eat veggies. My son loves this meal! It has a little bit of everything from meat to veggies.

1lb. of hamburger
2 Cans of French style green beans
2 Cans of Cream of mushroom soup
1 Bag of tater tots
Milk

Directions


Fry hamburger and drain, layer onto bottom of baking dish. Mix 2 cans mushroom soup with 2 cans of milk in separate pan and heat until slightly boiling. Pour soup mixture over hamburger. Layer french style green beans over hamburger mixture. Layer Tator tots side by side over french style green beans. Bake at 400 degrees until tater tots turn brown.

1 can french style cut green beans [regular can be used] drained
1 can corn drained

1 can cream of celery soup [chicken or mushroom work also]
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheese [cheddar, or american or your favorite cheese]
1 sleeve of ritz style crackers crushed
1 stick of margarine,melted
1/2 cup chopped onion

Directions
layer green beans and corn in a 13x9 casserole
mix sour cream and soup, layer half on top
sprinkle water chestnuts and onion over all
layer rest of soup mixture
sprinkle cheese, then crushed crackers
pour melted butter over all

bake at 350 for about 40 minutes or until bubbly and slightly golden brown

tuna noodle casserole

Easy to make in minutes. Very healthy. Delicious And nutritious.


Ingredients

1 pkg No yolk egg noodles
1 lg can tuna
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can milk
2 T of Hellmans mayo
1/2 C. cut up celery
1/2 C. cut up onions
1/2 c. mushrooms
3 T garlic powder
1/8 tsp lemon Pepper
1/2 tsp Pepper
1/2 tsp Lawry's seasoning salt
1/2 C parmesan cheese
1/2 to 1/4 C of dill pickle juice (very important]
parsley flakes to garnish

Directions

Prepare egg noodles & drain, drain tuna and set aside. Combine all other ingredients except parmesan cheese and parsley flakes. Grease casserole dish.
Add tuna, noodles, and the reaming ingredients. Mix and put in casserole dish. Sprinkle parmesan cheese all over the top and sprinkle parsley flakes.

1 16oz jar of salsa (mild, medium, hot)

2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon of spicy mustard

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix together brown sugar, vinegar, and mustard. Place chicken in a baking dish. Pour mixture over chicken. Bake and serve.

Sweet smelling cinnamon crumb cake.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 stick of butter
2 teaspons of baking powder
1 egg
3/4 cup milk

Directions

Mix with your hands 1 1/2 cup of sugar, 2 cups of flour 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 stick of butter to make crumbs. Take 1 cup of those crumbs to use for topping. To the remainder add 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 egg and 3/4 cup of milk. Pour into a 8" Or 9" pan. Spread the 1 cup of crumbs over top. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve hot!

simple and easy to make, takes about 35 to 35 mins to bake
I it baked in a pizza pan, and is about 3/4 to about 1 inch thick

cucumber sandwiches

We've all heard the saying cool as a cucumber. This veggie sandwich truly is. You'll look at cucumbers in a whole new "lite" once you've sampled this gourmet gem.

Ingredients

    2 thin slicing cucumbers, peeled, sliced paper thin
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. herb or wine vinegar
    1 cup butter or margarine, softened
    1/8 cup minced fresh tarragon
    1/4 cup minced fresh chervil
    30 thin slices whole-wheat or homemade white bread slices
Methods/steps
 
Put cucumber slices into a bowl. Toss with salt. Sprinkle with vinegar. Toss and allow to stand 1 hour. Drain well in a colander. Blend butter, tarragon and chervil together. Lay out your slices of bread and butter 1 side of each bread slice. Cover 15 slices with cucumbers, dividing evenly. Close sandwiches and trim crusts.
Cut into rectangles with a sharp knife. Serve.

chicken fettucine alfredo

Creamy pasta dish with a lemon tang.

Ingredients

1 lb. Fettuccine (plain or spinach)
(2 each) yellow and red bell peppers
8 oz. mushrooms
12 oz. jar Alfredo Sauce
1 pint heavy whipping cream
3 T. olive oil
1/3 cup lemon juice
dash pepper
dash seasoning salt if desired
2 1/2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Directions

Bring 3 quarts of water to a boil and place 3 T. of olive oil into separate pan. To this pan, add chicken breasts, lemon juice, pepper and seasoning salt if desired. Saute on med-low heat. Cut bell peppers in Julienne style, and slice mushrooms. When one side of chicken is light brown, turn over and add bell peppers and mushrooms. Once water boils, cook fettuccine according to package directions and drain water once tender, then add jar of Alfredo Sauce, warming pasta on medium/low heat. When chicken is cooked through, drizzle with heavy cream and let simmer for 2 minutes. Add remaining cream to pasta as needed and heat through. Place chicken and vegetables on top of fettuccine in serving dish or individual plates.

Bake at 425 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes or until the meat thermometer reads 170 degrees, basting often with reserved marinade. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.

slow cooker chocolate lava cake

This lovely rich chocolate desert is a wonderful finish to any meal!

Ingredients

1 package devils food cake mix
3 eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 2/3 cups water
1 package Jell-O Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding Mix
2 cups cold milk
1 bag (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Prepare cake mix into batter using eggs, oil, and water. Pour into crock-pot.

Prepare Jell-O Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix using milk. Pour this over cake mix in crock-pot. Sprinkle chocolate chips all over the top of the batter.

Cook in crock-pot on high setting for 2 1/2 to 3 hours until cake is moist but not jiggle, and little volcanoes of spitting chocolate appear on top. Serve with ice cream, whipped topping, or on its own for a really special dessert.

Notes For best results use a crock-pot liner so sides don't burn to your crock-pot.

1 can of condensed milk
1/2 oz. of walnuts

In a medium container, mix all the ingredients and preheat the oven to 350 degrees. When everything is mixed, pour into a glass pan and bake the brownies for about 20 minutes. Happy Valentines Day!

pasta alfredo

Quick and easy lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

4 cups cooked fettuccini noodles
1/4 cup butter
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup + 2 Tblsp grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
2 Tblsp flat leaf parsley, chopped

Directions

In a large skillet, melt butter until foam forms.
Add heavy cream.***
Simmer over medium heat until slightly thickened. (about 3-4 minutes)
Add noodles and Parmesan cheese.
Add salt and pepper.
Toss noodles in sauce until coated and noodles are heated through. (about 2-3 minutes)
Remove to serving dish and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese and flat leaf parsley.
***at this point in the recipe, you may add 2 cups diced cooked chicken or 1 pound cooked shrimp.

Ingredients

    Dough: 
    1 1/2 tsp. dry yeast
     2/3 cup warm water (100 to 110 degrees)
     2 cups all-purpose flour, divided 1/2 tsp. salt 
    Cooking spray 
    2 tsp. yellow cornmeal 
     
    Topping: 
    1 tbsp. olive oil 
     4 cups thinly sliced fennel bulb (about 4 small bulbs) 
    2 cups thinly sliced onion 
    1/2 tsp. salt 
    1/4 tsp. dried oregano 
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme 
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
     
     Remaining ingredients: 
     1 cup bottled tomato-basil pasta sauce
     1 cup (4 oz.) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese 
     1/4 cup coarsely chopped and pitted Kalamata olives
     
Methods/steps
 
To prepare dough, dissolve yeast in warm water in a large bowl, and let stand 5 minutes. Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. Add 1 3/4 cups flour and salt, and beat with a mixer at medium speed until smooth. Turn dough out onto a floured surface. Knead until smooth and elastic (about 10 minutes); add enough of remaining flour, 1 tbsp. at a time, to prevent dough from sticking to hands (dough will feel tacky). Place dough in a large bowl coated with cooking spray, turning to coat top. Cover and let rise in a warm place (85 degrees), free from drafts, 45 minutes or until doubled in size. (Press two fingers into the dough. If an indentation remains, dough has levitated enough.) Punch dough down; knead 5 times and let rest for 15 minutes. Roll dough into a 12-inch circle on a floured surface. Place dough on a (12-inch) pizza pan or baking sheet coated with cooking spray and sprinkled with cornmeal. Crimp edges of dough with fingers to form a rim. To prepare the topping, heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Add the fennel and the next 5 ingredients (fennel through black pepper), and cook for 20 minutes or until golden, stirring frequently. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Spread sauce over crust, leaving a 1/2-inch border; sprinkle with fennel mixture, cheese, and olives and bake at 450 degrees for 18 minutes or until browned.

Ingredients

    2 tbsp butter
    2 bacon strips, chopped
    5 oz. small white (button) mushrooms, chopped
    5 oz. portabella mushrooms, chopped
    6 green onions, chopped
    1 tbsp. mustard
    4 oz. cream cheese, chopped
    1/3 cup heavy (whipping) cream
    1 lb cooked chicken, chopped
    10 sheets filo pastry
    4 tbsp. butter, melted
    2 tsp. poppy seeds
Methods/steps
 
Filling: Heat the butter in a frying pan, add the bacon and mushrooms and cook, stirring, until the liquid has evaporated. Add the green onions and cook, stirring, until soft. Stir in the mustard, cream cheese, cream and chicken and mix well. Layer 5 sheets of filo pastry together, brushing each layer with melted butter. Keep the unused pastry covered with a barely damp, clean dish towel at all times to prevent drying out. Cut the pastry in half to form two squares. Spoon one fourth of the filling onto the end of each square, roll once, tuck the ends in and roll up. Brush lightly with butter and then sprinkle with poppy seeds. Repeat with the remaining pastry and filling. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes or until lightly browned and filling is hot. The parcels can be prepared a day ahead. Store, covered with plastic wrap, in refrigerator.

Ingredients

    2 eggs
    2 slices ham, chopped
    1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 tbsp. chopped onion
    1 tbsp. chopped green bell pepper
    2 tbsp. chopped fresh tomato
    1 tbsp. chunky salsa
    2 fresh mushrooms, sliced
Methods/steps
 
Crack the 2 eggs into a large and heat resistant re-sealable freezer bag. Press out most of the air, and seal. Shake or squeeze to beat the egg. Open the bag, and add the ham, cheese, onion, green pepper, tomato, salsa, and mushrooms. Squeeze out as much of the air as you can, and seal the bag.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Place up to 8 bags at a time into the boiling water. Cook for exactly 13 minutes. Open the bag, and let the omelet roll out onto a plate. The omelet should roll out easily.

peachy berry nana

This is a tasty fruit salad that's great in the summer.

Ingredients

4 medium bananas, sliced
1 pound strawberries, sliced
1 large can sliced peaches in syrup
1 package strawberry glaze pie filling

Directions

Place bananas in a pan with the peach juice; let soak. Mix the remaining ingredients in another bowl. Then drain the peach juice off the bananas and then add the bananas to the strawberry mixture. Refrigerate. Enjoy.

berry wonderful trifle

Light and refreshing trifle that's easy to make.

Ingredients

1 Pre-made Pound Cake (or can use lady's fingers cookies)
2 Cups Sliced Strawberries (or any type of berries)
2 teaspoons of vanilla / vanilla extract
(can use other type of extract, i.e lemon, etc.-depends upon ones own taste)
1 Large container of Cool Whip
1 Cup of Pecans (chopped into small pieces)

Directions


Start by using a deep bowl or container (preferably glass or clear so that you can see the pretty layers). Slice pound cake into 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch slices and when laying cake into container, cut slices of the cake into needed shapes so that the pieces of the cake will fill the entire layer and have no gaps. Start layering ingredients with the pound cake on the bottom. Drizzle a few drops of the vanilla extract over the entire layer of cake. Spread with about 1 inch of cool whip and then sprinkle with pecans over cool whip. Then, top with the strawberries. Repeat Layers 2 more times. On top of last layer, top the berries with remaining cool whip and sprinkle with remaining pecans. Decorate the top with a few berries in the middle (or however you like, BE CREATIVE!)

supreeme thyme & tomato beef

This recipe is the "stuff" that dreams are made of. Gently insert the garlic and thyme into the meat and then simmer in the delicious tomato juices. There's no question where the beef -- or flavor -- is.

Ingredients

    4 lb. corner fresh beef silverside roast 
    10 cloves garlic 
    10 sprigs fresh thyme
     2 tbsp. olive oil
     1 lb. can diced tomatoes 
    1 1/2 cup beef stock 
    1/4 cup tomato paste 
    1/4 cup red wine vinegar
     2 tsp. chopped fresh thyme 
    3 oz. quince paste
Methods/steps
 
Cut 10 deep slashes in top of beef; insert garlic cloves and thyme sprigs into slashes. Heat oil in large pan, cook beef until well browned all over. Add undrained crushed tomatoes and all remaining ingredients; simmer, covered, for about 2 hours or until beef is tender. Remove beef from pan, cover to keep warm; boil tomato mixture in pan, uncovered, about 15 minutes or until slightly thickened. Slice beef thinly, serve with tomato mixture.This is best made just before serving and freezing is unsuitable.

corn casserole

A great casserole for any dinner, especially Holiday meals.

Ingredients

1 box of cornbread mix {I use Jiffy}
1 can of whole kernel corn
1 can of cream style corn
1 stick margarine or butter
8 oz. of sour cream

Directions


Mix all ingredients together in large bowl.
Spray a 2 quart casserole dish with non-stick spray.
Pour mixture into casserole dish and bake at 350 for
approximately 45 minutes and until golden brown on top.
Let set for approximately 10 minutes before serving.

enchilada casserole

Its a great make ahead casserole if you are in a hurry. You can mix all the ingredients the night before and put in fridge, then when ready just heat up a little and then pour over chips and put cheese on and bake until melted.

Ingredients

2-3 pounds hamburger
1 cup chopped onion
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 can golden cream mushroom soup
1 can enchilada sauce (large)
1 can green chilis (chopped) I put only 1/2 can (optional)
1 chopped tomato (optional)
1 chopped green pepper (optional)
1 package taco seasoning
1 8oz shredded cheddar cheese to spread on top (2 or 4 cups)
sour cream
1 to 2 bags Doritos

Directions

Cook hamburger and onion until done. Add the soups and taco seasonings. Spray casserole pan or dish with non-stick spray, then line heavily with Doritios. Pour on the hamburger, onion, and soup mixture. Spread cheddar cheese on top. Cook at 350F degrees until done. Serve with sour cream and salsa if desired.

cornbread chili bake

Wondering what to do with your leftover chili? This is very easy and tastes great!

Ingredients

8 x 10" baking pan
2 cups of homemade chili or (may use 1 can)
1 box Jiffy corn bread mix
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

Start by preheating oven to 350 degrees and spray pan w/nonstick coating. Next, prepare cornbread as directed on box and pour batter into baking pan, coating the entire bottom. Now, warm chili in a glass bowl in the microwave for 1-2 minutes to soften, then smooth the chili evenly over the top of cornbread batter. Next sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the top and bake for 25 min. When finished, bread may be cut into squares and served on a plate, garnished w/sour cream and chives.

next day chili casserole

This is an easy and great way to use leftover chili!

Ingredients

chili (about 2-4 C. what ever you have left)
1 8 oz. bag 4 cheese (Mexican) shredded cheese (or whtever you like)
cornbread (my receipe follows)
baking dish (the size depends on how much chili you have)
garnishes (sour cream, guacamole, salsa, shreaded lettuce, diced tomatos, diced onions, hot sauce... whatever you like)

Directions

First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Pour your chili into the bottom of your baking dish and then sprinkle 1/2 of the cheese over the chili. Next, crush up the corn bread and sprinkle over the cheese. Finally, sprinkle the remaining cheese over the cornbread and bake for about 20 minutes (until the cheese is melted and it's hot). Serve and add garnishes!!!

thai pork burritos

When two cultures collide, you get tempting Thai Pork Burritos. One part Mexican, two parts Thai, these simple stuffed burritos make for a great meal.

Ingredients

    1 garlic clove 1 lb. lean ground pork 1 small onion, diced 1 tbsp. honey 1 tsp. olive oil 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes 2 cups coleslaw mix with carrots 2 tbsp. grated ginger 2 tbsp. lime juice 2 tsp. ground coriander 3 tbsp. soy sauce 4 10-inch flour tortillas 1 tbsp. fresh cilantro
Methods/steps
 
Heat large nonstick skillet over high heat. Add pork, cook, crumble and stir until pork is no longer pink, about 3-4 minutes. Add ginger, garlic, onion and coleslaw mix and stir-fry with pork for 2 minutes, until vegetables are wilted. Stir constantly for about 1 minute. Heat tortillas in the microwave for 30 seconds. Spoon equal portions of pork mixture onto tortillas, top with cilantro and roll up burrito.

A lite spicy chicken dish

Ingredients

1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 large block Velveeta cheese
1 pound bag spaghetti
2 boxes fajita-seasoned chicken breast strips
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 Lg Jar of Prego

Directions

Directions Cook spaghetti until done. Cut some slices of cheese and lay in bottom of crock pot turned on medium/high. Place some spaghetti on top of the cheese. Brown chicken strips in skillet. Cut chicken strips up and place on spaghetti. Pour in a can of tomatoes. Repeat layering process until all ingredients have been placed in crock pot. Mix Cream of chicken, Cream of mushroom, milk, and Prego together. Stir in mixture gradually. Stir occasionally until all cheese is melted. Cook time: about 45 minutes. Makes 15 servings

easy beef stroganoff

easy to make stroganoff over potatoes or noodles

Ingredients

One LB beef (round steak, flank steak)
One large can cream of mushroom soup
One 24 oz tub of sour cream
One large onion
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
one large bag of egg noodles

Directions


Place egg noodles in large pan of boiling water with a touch of oil. Boil for approximately 15 minutes while preparing the sauce. Remove when tender and strain.
cut beef up in strips, against the grain. cut the strips into bite size pieces.

Cook beef in olive oil over medium heat. Chop the onion and add to to the pan. Once beef is completely brown, drain excess fat, return to stove.
Add in mushroom soup, sour cream, and spices. Stir to mix well. Bring mixture to a boil then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for approximately 10 minutes.

Serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles. Serves 5 to 6

Ingredients

    1/2 cup butter 1 (16 oz.) package large marshmallows 2 cups popped popcorn 1 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces

In a saucepan over low heat, combine the butter and marshmallows. Stir until marshmallows are softened. Add popcorn and candies; mix until evenly coated with marshmallows. Allow cooling enough to touch. Grease hands with butter and form into balls.

coca-cola pork chops

Pork Chops with a sweet and tangy sauce. Yummy!

Ingredients
6 - Center cut boneless pork chops
1 cup Coca-Cola
1 cup your favorite ketchup

Directions
Use a covered glass roasting pan. Place pork chops on the bottom of the pan in a single layer. Mix Coca-Cola and ketchup together. Pour over the pork chops. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50 minutes. Remove lid - continue baking for another 10 - 15 minutes. Serve the pork chops with juice on the side or poured over the chops. Good with mashed potatoes and a vegetable.

simple pulled pork bbq

Parker Pulled Pork (Too Simple)Use for BBQ Dinners or simple sandwiches

Ingredients
4 lbs country style pork ribs ( boneless, these are NOT baby back ribs)
1 Tb Liq Smoke
1 cup Preferred BBQ Sauce

Directions
Put 3 lbs country style pork ribs (boneless @ 99cents lbs) in slow cooker, set on HIGH for 6 hours, Remove pork to a plate and skim fat from juices left in cooker with slotted spoon. Leave approx. 1/2cup of juices in cooker,then add 1 Tb liq Smoke and 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce to cooker(we prefer "Cattlemans BBQ"). Remove fat from pork, use forks to shred or chunk and place pork back in cooker, stir and keep warm until serving. Freezes well, use chunks as a dinner and shreded for sandwiches. I usually chunk first to have for dinner with potatoes and veg. Then I shred leftovers and freeze for sandwiches. I have big BBQ dinners for friends and family, just add more cookers, some chunked and some shreded with fresh baked sandwich rolls. People love it and they can serve their selves.
